Prayer is an important part of Timberwood Church. Each Sunday we give you a chance to let us know what is going on in their life, whether it be a concern or a praise. In our Sunday program an Information Card is included where you have a chance to write down a prayer request or praise. Then, throughout the week, Timberwood has different prayer groups that will be praying alongside you for those things. You can also have the chance to pray for fellow members of the body of Christ by signing up to receive the weekly email. “Do not conform any longer to the pattern this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is his good, pleasing and perfect will.” —Romans 12:2
Individuals gather each week on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. to pray for the requests that are submitted on Sunday mornings. These groups are open to anyone who would like to come and participate.
Between services on Sunday morning we have people who are at the front of the Worship Center and in the back available to pray with those who would like prayer. These individuals are apart of our ongoing prayer ministry and remain committed to caring for others through prayer.
We host prayer events throughout the year for individuals and groups to get together and participate in guided prayer. The first Sunday of the year is typically our corporate prayer service where we invite families and individuals to come forward during the service and receive prayer for general or specific requests.
Our Prayer Path is located on the east side of our campus and is a half mile loop through the woods with prayer stations and a guided prayer sheet to help individuals through their experience. The Prayer Path is always open. Maps are available at the Information Desk or by clicking the link below.
