CLASSES

Timberwood Church looks outward to serve in order to reach everyone for Jesus Christ. This is woven into everything we do. We offer many opportunities for learning throughout the year. We strive to live in word and deeds that are an encouragement to others to know and be like Jesus Christ.

  • Wednesday Classes

    Wednesday Night Programming returns September 11th and meets 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. and offers something for everyone. 


    Children encounter Christ through stories, games and other activities. 


    Youth (6th - 12th grade) grow closer to God through a variety of fun activities, studying God's Word and small groups. 


    This fall the adults are studying the Book of Daniel.

Retreat of silence

The practice of retreat is an invitation to intentionally withdraw and engage more deeply with oneself, God, and others. Join us on Saturday, November 23, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for a Retreat of Silence. You will be guided into spiritual practices that allow your mind, heart, body, and soul to quiet and listen.  To register for this event, please click   here

GriefShare

This is a seminar and support group for those grieving the loss of someone through death. This group is facilitated by people who understand what you are experiencing and want to offer you comfort and encouragement during this difficult time. GriefShare is a nondenominational group and features biblical teaching on grief and recovery topics. This class begins Saturday mornings September 14th - December 7th, 10:00 a.m. to noon at Timberwood Church in room 109.  

The cost of the workbook is $20. Additional information is available at the Information Desk at Timberwood Church. Childcare is not available.

DivorceCare - Surviving the Holidays

This seminar on Thursday, November 7, 2024, will help you discover how to deal with emotions, what to do about traditions, helpful tips for surviving social events and how to find hope for the future. We will meet in room 109.
